The Glasses

Creating works of art from items that are out of the ordinary or discarded is a passion of mine. We took 130 golf clubs and welded them into a 10 ft. long pair of transition glasses. The lenses are sewn together one by one, transitioning from the light to dark when brought outside.

Welding these clubs together was challenging as the medal was easily breaking, however because of the difficulties I believe the end result was that much greater.

This eye catching sculpture was made for Transition Lenses for RBC Canadian Open in 2023.
