The Boots

We brought the 'boots' to Boots and Hearts!

As a professional artist, I strive to promote themes of women empowerment through my work. The festival's commitment to an all-female lineup made this project a natural fit for me. The creation of the boots took several months of meticulous planning and execution. I utilized thousands of individual pieces of rope to create the illusion of stitching, resulting in a highly detailed and realistic representation of a boot.

My goal was to create a long-lasting and impactful piece, and I am confident that this artwork will continue to be a centrepiece of the festival for years to come.
